DATA SECURITY & PROTECTION
Your data is protected at a level similar to Department of Defense, with many layers of security, and 2,048 bit encryption which is typically 4 times that employed by many banks. Our data center is fully compliant with the regulatory standards imposed by organizations such as HIPAA and FINRA. For additional data protection, we automatically back up all of your data twice during the working day and then again overnight to highly secure geo-redundant facilities. If you accidentally delete a previously saved file, we can implement a restore from any of these back-ups, quickly and efficiently. This is in contrast to Office 365, where once you have deleted a file, the synchronization between the public server and the local device means it is almost certainly lost for good.

Several years ago, we carefully selected the location of our data center because of its redundancy, which is significantly more robust than you would typically experience in any office of a small or medium sized enterprise. For example, we have 5 power supplies (including battery back-up and a fall over diesel generator), 3 internet connections, extensive physical and systemic security, and all the resources you would expect in a state of the art facility. These include cooling, fire suppression, remote monitoring and a rating to withstand a hurricane category 4 direct hit. As the facility is on the 11th floor, there is no flooding risk.
